Ambassador of France to India, H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou welcomed EDHEC Business School, Dean, Emmanuel Métais to India at an event in Delhi. During the reception, Dean Métais presented EDHEC’s strategic plan, Generations 2050, and discussed the school’s ambitions to expand in India, a country with outstanding higher education institutions and a youth population eager for international degrees and work experience.
EDHEC has many partnerships in India, but with the country’s rapid economic expansion, the school is actively seeking new connections and activities. Indian students represent the largest group of international students on EDHEC’s campuses. Since 2020, the number of Indian students on EDHEC campuses has increased by 50% as more students discover the career-boosting benefits of studying in France at a top business school.

Dean Métais has visited Delhi and Mumbai to meet with potential university and corporate partners. He is traveling with EDHEC, Associate Dean of International Relations, Richard Perrin, who has been instrumental in securing partnerships with regional non-profits that provide volunteer opportunities for EDHEC students who embark on Global Impact Projects.
Ambassador Mathou knows EDHEC well. He and his wife are alumni of the school, which has three campuses in France (Paris, Lille and Nice) and research centers in London and Singapore. In recent years, EDHEC has performed exceptionally well in the Financial Times Business School Rankings: 7th best business school in Europe, 4th best Master’s in Management, and 6th best Master’s in Finance.
