element14, an Avnet company and a fast and reliable distributor of products and technology for electronic and industrial system design, maintenance and repair, has announced the appointment of CY Chan as Vice President, Sales and Service, Asia-Pacific (APAC). This leadership change highlights element14’s commitment to building a strong executive team and providing improved service and value to customers throughout the APAC region.
In his new role, CY will lead element14’s regional sales and service strategy, with a focus on driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and deeper customer engagement. He will report to Rebeca Obregon, President of element14, ensuring close alignment with the company’s global strategy and priorities.

CY brings extensive experience in enterprise transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and business integration, with a strong focus on scalable growth. He has led initiatives to establish market intelligence frameworks, centralised data and business analytics functions, robotic process automation (RPA) teams, AI-enabled quotation and pricing systems, and an Asia Quote Center — all contributing to improved efficiency and informed decision-making.
CY is recognised for his collaborative and transparent leadership style, emphasising agility, trust, and empowerment while maintaining a strong focus on results. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
