Surya Roshni Expands into Corporate Gifting, Targets ₹300 Crore Revenue by 2030

Surya Roshni Limited, one of India’s established names in lighting, wires & cables, fans, home appliances, PVC pipes, water pumps, water tanks and steel pipes, is expanding its presence into the corporate gifting segment, marking a strategic extension of its consumer durables and electrical product portfolio into the growing B2B gifting market. The company is targeting ₹300 crore in revenue from the corporate gifting business by 2030, with plans to build a strong product portfolio, expand distribution, strengthen branding and deepen its corporate sales infrastructure.

The company’s entry into corporate gifting is aimed at addressing the growing demand from corporates, institutions, channel partners and organisations for practical, utility-led gifting solutions. Leveraging its portfolio across lighting, fans, home appliances and other electrical products, Surya Roshni plans to develop gifting propositions across multiple price points and occasions, including employee engagement, festive gifting, corporate milestones, dealer and channel-partner programmes, and institutional requirements.

As part of its expansion strategy, Surya Roshni is strengthening its engagement with the corporate gifting ecosystem through industry platforms and exhibitions. Following its participation at the Gift Expo in Delhi, the company is also participating in Gift Expo Bengaluru, providing an opportunity to showcase its product portfolio to corporate buyers, gifting companies, distributors and institutional procurement stakeholders. The company is looking to use these platforms to build partnerships and expand its reach across key corporate markets, with a focus on both national and regional opportunities.

The corporate gifting business is expected to complement Surya Roshni’s existing distribution and manufacturing strengths while creating an additional B2B channel for its consumer-oriented product categories. The company is evaluating opportunities to introduce customised gifting combinations, branded products and curated utility-led hampers, depending on corporate requirements and order volumes.

Commenting on the expansion, Vasumitra Pandey, CEO – Lighting & Consumer Durables, Surya Roshni Limited, said, “Corporate gifting is evolving beyond traditional merchandise towards products that combine utility, quality and everyday relevance. Our entry into this segment allows us to bring Surya Roshni’s established product capabilities into a new B2B opportunity. We see significant potential in utility-led gifting, particularly across lighting, fans and home appliances, and are building the business with a long-term focus on institutional relationships, customised offerings and scalable distribution.”

Beyond its consumer durables and gifting expansion, Surya Roshni continues to leverage its strong presence across its core businesses and regional markets. In the steel pipes segment, the company has built strong market acceptance across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, strengthening its position in these important industrial and infrastructure markets. This regional presence, along with its nationwide distribution network and manufacturing capabilities, provides the company with a strong foundation to pursue new B2B opportunities.

Surya Roshni expects the corporate gifting business to scale to ₹300 crore in revenue by 2030, supported by an expanding product portfolio, institutional partnerships and increased participation across key gifting and procurement platforms. The company sees corporate gifting as an important emerging B2B channel that can complement its broader consumer durables growth strategy while opening new avenues for institutional and corporate engagement.
